Granite Cast Iron Weight Plates
For those who love the "old school" feel of iron and the unmistakable sound of a heavy session, our Cast Iron Series delivers rugged reliability. These are the workhorse plates of any serious gym, built to last a lifetime and designed to fit perfectly on all Granite machines and Olympic bars.
Key Features
-
Classic Raw Power: Precision-cast from high-quality gray iron, these plates offer that slim profile and metallic "clank" that athletes have trusted for decades.
-
Fully Customizable: Stand out from the crowd. Even with our iron plates, we offer custom color powder coating and embossed branding to match your gym’s aesthetic.
-
Space-Efficient Design: Because iron is denser than rubber or PU, these plates are incredibly thin. This allows you to max out the weight horns on your Granite Leg Press or Seal Row without running out of sleeve space.
-
Machined Center Hole: Every plate features a precision-machined 50mm center to ensure a snug fit on the bar, reducing rattle and movement during explosive lifts.

Why Choose Cast Iron?
-
Maximum Load: The slim width is the biggest advantage. If you are a high-level lifter, iron is the only way to fit 400kg+ on a machine sleeve.
-
Lifetime Durability: Unlike rubber which can degrade or PU which can scuff, solid cast iron is virtually impossible to break.
-
The Aesthetic: Nothing looks more "hardcore" than a rack full of custom-branded iron.
Actionable Pro-Tip
If you are running a commercial facility, choose a Textured Powder Coat for your custom finish. It provides a superior grip for members' sweaty hands when moving 20kg or 50kg plates, reducing the risk of dropped weights and floor damage.
